Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- ⅔ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup fresh lemon juice
Directions
Dissolve the sugar in 2 cups boiling water. Add the cold water and refrigerate until completely cool. Add the lemon juice and stir well. Taste and adjust as needed. Keep cold. Add ice if desired.
Optional: use half lemon juice and half lime juice, and/or add a few sprigs of mint to the pitcher.
Yields: 4 cups
