When discussing the Rambam, Rabbi Mendel Kaplan noted something along the lines of, when Hashem is not in our conscious awareness, when we are not concerned with Him, he stops reaching out to us or being concerned with us (please correct me if I misinterpreted). Is this then correct? That there is a prevalent idea in Judaism that Hashem is not concerned with us unless we study Judaism and keep Him in our minds? Reply
