if all the acts of creation were the"handiwork" of GD, they would of necessity be perfect. But yet as he completed each step, he had to examine them and determine "that they were good". So GD does indeed care about the finite, as the finite ultimately connnects to and of necessity is incorporated into the infinite. This is I believe why, despite beting permitted, the Jews after killing their enemies who sought to destroy them, and hence destroy in so doing, the will of the Almighty, did not take the spoils because the redemption of the Jews was attached to the infinity of GD's purpose and vision Reply
