Prisoners of Light

The Biblical story of Joseph’s descent into Egypt and subsequent incarceration is often read in the same week in which we celebrate the liberation from Czarist imprisonment of the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman, founder of Chabad. This class will explore the link between these events and offers insight into the nature of redemption. (Likutei Sichos volume 25, Parshas Vayeishev)

"Fire comes before great wealth..."
Fire--Gevurah--Justice & analysis entities being Judged on their own, Fire separates and says You don't Get (stam receive) You have to earn it(!!!) There is no free lunch, you must ascend (learning, mitzvohs, doing, Being)
You must give up your evil inclination (aka EGO) in relation to G-d

...It took 35 years of wandering (physically & intellectually) to stumble into this shiur with Rabbi New to finally receive an interpretation of an answer from the Rebbe. Reply
