If you stir just before you plunge it makes it much easier to press. Reply

When I make coffee with a French Press, I add half a teaspoon or a couple of pinches of mixed sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves). It really gives the coffee a great taste. Then I heat milk and froth it with a whisk. Another way is to put it in an empty jam jar, to get the same result, like a Cappuccino. If you wish, you can add some chocolate powder and sweeten to taste with maple syrup. Enjoy! Reply

That's a new easy way to make coffee. I never saw it made that way before. It looks very similar to making a cup of hot tea. I might try this recipe some time. Reply

I love this idea of French Press coffee. There is also cold brew coffee, instructions are online. Google it. I would give instructions here, but I don't know them. Reply

High Quality Beans I loved it! Gotta say, I kind of wish you had said "Let it sit for about 4 minutes - adjusting for local atmospheric pressure of course ;) " Reply
