I cannot get this lecture out of my head anymore.
Today when I drove to school, someone in the car in front of me threw something out of his car while the light was red. At first I only shook my head about these people, then looked to see what it was that he threw out of his car. It was an apple. The apple was whole, and it was red. It was a red apple, thrown away carelessly. This pained me. Now that I'm home I recall this lecture once again, and I felt like sharing this.

@ Anonymus: I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing. Things like that happen to me also often :-) Reply

Bentching gomel I was just able to discuss if I was fully recovered so that I could bless "gomel", and then I learned that the topic is in this week's parsha, and also that this class was being given. Thank you so much. Thanks to HaShem (G-d). Reply

Each week, Rabbi Mendel Kaplan will delve into that week's Torah reading to bring out a practical lesson for life and explain the Biblical sources for the customs, laws, practices and ethics of our people.
