Joseph One of the Ten Martyrs? Im Confused Hello Rabbi Miller,

I am slightly confused because I learned in the midrash that the ten martyrs where the reincarnations of Josephs ten brothers who sold him. Now you are stating that Joseph was one of them? So which brother wasnt reincarnated then? Reply

Vanity One question. Can we understand the clothings was actually Yoseph's vanity? Because, after his prision, Yoseph had to experience a life where vanity is useless. When people are behind bars, beautiful many colored clothes, be good looking and fine curly hair won't help a bit. As I understood, it was some sort of epiphany where Yoseph realized what was real important in life. In prision, he could focus on G-d's gift - Which was the gift of understand dreams. Reply

Torah in Ten Rabbi Miller, you refer to Joseph being attracted to Potiphar rather than Potiphar's wife - becomes confusing, do you subscribe to her name being Zuleika? That would make it easier to understand. Reply

ZELICHA I'm confused, Yoseph wasn't being pursued and seduced by Potifar, rather by his wife, Zelicha. Reply

Topic of Joseph's Reincarnation I do not want to appear disrespectful in asking this question: How do we know that Joseph was the reincarnation of Enoch? How do we know that we had other lives? I never believed in reincarnation. But since Chabad Rabbies mention reincarnation often, it is interesting to know the "how" of the knowledge of reincarnation. Have anyone been able to see the past lives? I thought that was only for the people who call themselves six sense gifted or something like that. I warn you, ever since I was a child liked to ask dip questions. Now I am 63 and still asking and researching. But would not dare to go where I might think that Hashem wouldn't want me to for fear of His rebuke. Reply
