Yosef Kesuba Why could Yosef himself not have written his Kesuba? The big question is, who were the witnesses? The obvious answer is that any traditions and Mitzvos observed before the Torah was given were observed in whatever way they were observed. It was more the spirit the Mitzvah than the details. The detailed meticulous observance came post Mt. Sinai Reply
