Invoke the L ord by name In Genesis 4:26 the phrase is preceeded by the words, "Az huchal," meaning, then it became profane. Calling the name of G-d became profane. Anything was called G-d. Reply

Invoke the Lord by name Why is the above phrase translated/explained as idol worship in Genesis 4:26 but in Genesis 13:4 it is translated/explained as "taught montheism"?

Aren't they the same words?
