Thank you for these wonderful classes. I am finding them incredibly helpful and illuminating.

In case this is helpful to anyone else, I follow the class of the Torah reading of the day of the week. First of all I listen to the Torah reading at the Bar Mitzvah site and then this class with a copy of Chumash and Rashi to follow along with.

A question on this class, the last part regarding the different verbs for begetting etc was a bit fast for me. Would you kindly write it out for me.

reply to Destruction and Fire Sparks of fire could have shot off from the main fire and touched them, and that's how they were frightened of fire.

Destruction and Fire If the Adam and Eve had lived in a perfect environment without the knowledge of death and pain, how is it that they were frightened by the angels of destruction and fire? I thought at first maybe it was an instinct, but my children were not afraid of fire and heat when they were young. When they burned themselves or felt pain, they finally had fear. Reply
