Berdichever variant Is this not from R' Levi Yitzchok of Berdichev, or based on it?

Among Hungarian chassidim I have heard a version which goes through the entire text of the hoshana.

It uses the same tune for the words of the hoshana, and a chorus with a slightly different tune to the words "lomer dertzaylen, lomer dertzaylen, di mayles fun yidishe kinder" [roughly, let us tell the great qualities of the Jewish people] Reply

Yes, indeed. You can hear it on Spotify. (Search for Yiddish Classics volume 4, second track.) I think the version presented here also originates from some other Chassidus and found its way to Lubavitch. Reply
