Recognition Rabbi Tzvi Freeman. I always look forward to your inspirational reflections... They are indeed good vitamins along the journey. An excellent way of looking at miracles. I tell my congreation that I do not believe in miracles...I DEPEND CONSTANTLY UPON THEM... The difference between a miracle and a coincidence, the former HaShem signs it...the latter the signature is hidden. Thanks and keep it up... Very inspirational indeed. Baruch HaShem. Reply

Russ, I hope this may help. Russ, I believe that this teaching is based on a teaching of the Baal Shem Tov that in essence Nature and all its cycles are also Miracles, only that they happen in a systematic logical fashion, continuously, and thus, we mistake it as natural. However, in truth, both Nature and Miracles are two gloves placed on the hand of G-d through which He vivifies the world. When we see a Miracle, which is the more transparent glove, through which we more easily see the hand of G-d, then afterwards, when we see nature, we can more easily see through that glove as well, and see the hand of G-d in Nature as well. Wishing a wonderful Thanksgiving, in which we can sincerely give thanks to G-d for both, the miracles and natural course of events in our lives. Avrohom Reply

Russ-- what don't you understand? Is it a particular message that is eluding you or the whole thing in general? Sometimes the rabbi makes no sense to me. Later on, I will be reading something else and click on it on accident and lights turn on, "Oh-- I get it!" Reply

Enlightenment? So when a rabbi (from a place I have never been to, nor he from mine) who I have never met consistently writes things that apply directly to my life, is it normal or just a miracle? ;-)
