The Divine Quality Of A Deed What makes my action or deed divine?

We were endowed only with the desire to receive benefit for me.
Subconsciously we check the benefit of each act.

The divine deed depends on the intention of the act and not the act itself. We need to ask: "For whom do I intend to benefit from my deed?"

In this way I transform my natural desire to satisfy self into a deed performed for the sake of the other. This intention is what the Kabbalists refer to as resembling G_dliness. Reply

angels An angel is born out of our love to just do what is good?

It is exciting to think and know that we are co-creating and it is a great motivator to do what might be an emotionally difficult communication with someone who may have hurt your feelings in the past.

Just today i took an opportunity even when the person had not seen me. i spoke out a mere pleasant hello to someone who had teased me about just about everything from my looks to my way of life. G-d loves her too. My hello created a new angel! It was well worth every breath and word even though i was tongue-tied a little my intention was good and forgiving.

I recognize that I needed a soul to wake me up in childhood and adolescence and even into adulthood in order to become a whole person and accept myself just how i am. Reply

to promise inside Pour your heart out to G-d, and ask him to help you. Find some time just to cry to G-d, you will be surprised as what it can do. Another big step , is to thank G- d in advance. For example say" thank you G-d for giving me ___________ as if you already have it. When you thank G-d in advance, you create an opening for the blessing. Do this daily and as much as you can. Know that the the purpose of a challange is not to make you suffer, but that you should overcome it. Once you realize that only G-d can help you and you put all your trust in him, and not man for you salvation, you will begin to see the light. Reply

Soul Access your g-dly soul through meaningful prayer.
It is there and will come out.Pray for all that is good and true,place your trust in Hashem and he will return to you all that is good and true.

We all have insecurities and doubts, but if you close your eyes and cease to listen to the outside you will see clearly and you will also hear the truth.

PROMISE inside Don't give up. You are a royal person like most people I seem to find a common place with. Your deeds won't ever go unnoticed "every dog has his day." . What I abhor is the sight of people giving more time and effort than they receive. What I have found is that when you are sincere with yourself and your own limits you gain a sense of relief and total sincerity in knowing your own limits. I respect you Reply

Promise inside I am full time taking care of a very sick wife right now. I have many doubts about my total devotion although everyone says I am totally devoted.. I always feel I can do more. I get tired and depressed. What can I do? I realize this is a general question. I have asked for blessings and will give tsedukah. I also pray in my own way I recite the S-hma a lot. Any counsel would be most welcome. I am so tired... We have no parents or siblings. One child is not able to help due to his circumstances and the other does help but has three children of her own and a husband. Reply

Godly Soul for Jews Only? I've heard Chabad teachings, apparently based on a passage in the Tanya, that only Jews have Godly souls. What kind of souls do non-Jews have, and how are non-Jewish souls qualitatively different than Jewish souls? Reply
