Love can fail, and we must know it can fail.
For if love was always reciprocated, there would never be unconditional love.
But you have done your part, you have shown love.
And what is the reward of the mitzvah of love?
That both of you rise higher, and the Infinite Light gains another window through which to shine into this world.
