Holistic Study

The 'revealed' Torah is clothed or encrypted in externality (words from our world). This distracts us from the real meaning.
When we read from the most powerful Book - the book of Zohar we draw the Light that corrects us even if we do not comprehend it.

If we study together with the guidance of a teacher who studied with an authentic kabbalist, organized in a group, whose intention is to cancel their self-love which separates us from G_d. The group focus on connecting their feelings towards love of the others. Then they create a place for G_d's presence to be revealed and to draw the Light that corrects their nature. Reply

Invintation accepted Bring it on. I would like to find a peace of mind so to concentrate, which is something with relentless persecutions I find annoying, troublesome, disgusting. The persecutions come from them who worship idols. Reply

Ask and you shall receive What is a question other then a prayer. Who is it that listens and knows what we need. We read in to Torah and drink from the eternal spring. That the One above sends His messengers. That is, what we, ask as not to be lost as were before. Reply

i heard that everything is torah, in the sense that any piece of information can be applied to torah. torah is about life, a teaching how to to live, instruction how to live. anything a person thinks of has to do with who they are and the life they are living. it is part of their because they thought about it.

what im trying to get to is, that no one is allowed to read in the bathroom cause were not supposed to think about torah in the bathroom. and anyone with any sense in torah applies whatever they hear see read or think to what life is all about thats, torah,

Questions During an early period of my learning I searched for questions in my head while the rabbi was reading and explaining. My rabbi Elimelech Silberberg would say, "What does that have to do with what we are learning ?
At first I believed it showed my involvement. Finally I came to the realization, it showed my involvement in my ego wanting to appear brilliant to the rabbi and class.
I changed. Through silent meditation, I connected my mind to G-d before class and fastened my eyes on the Chumash page. I took notes to review later. I held my questions to the end of class when the rabbi would take questions (I learned this from the rabbi). In nearly thirty years of studying with Rabbi Silberberg. It also improved my personal study. Reply

Holistic Study I understand the importance of making sure that my "conversion" to Judaism is kosher and have made contact with the small Jewish community here, who have since directed me to an Orthodox Rabbi in the UK for further study (as none are currently resident here).
