We arrived in West Lake Worth, Florida this Wednesday, at the behest of my brother, Rabbi Bentzion Singer, who will soon be a full-time Chabad-Lubavitch representative in the area.

After two days on the job, we have already managed to celebrate two belated Bar Mitzvahs; George laid Tefillin for his first time at the ripe age of 87, while Hal, who had also never put on Tefillin before meeting us, is a mere youngster at 35.

My co-rover, Shaya Schtroks, is reminded of the words of the Talmud "One who dons Tefillen even once in his life, is guaranteed a portion in the world to come."

Shabbat Shalom,

Mendy Singer
